Dear Principal,
As the academic year draws to a close and you look forward to well-deserved rest, allow me to take this opportunity to offer the wholehearted thanks of the Transferor Representatives’ Council for the year that is soon to end. We owe you, your staff and governors a huge debt of gratitude for everything you have done throughout the year to ensure that the children and young people in your care have continued to experience a high-quality education in a school environment in which they can flourish.
We know only too well the pressures under which the education system is operating at the moment, and we continue to do all we can to advocate on your behalf with politicians and policy makers. We are also acutely aware of the individual pressures and stresses that you face as the leader of your school, and want you to be assured of our support and that of your Transferor governors and local churches. Our partnership with Controlled schools is a great privilege and we continue to stand with you, and to stand ready to assist you in whatever ways we can, strategically, practically and prayerfully.
Please pass on our sincerest thanks to your staff; the various jobs that they do are invaluable to the life of the school and are very deeply appreciated by the local community. In the midst of everything that happens each school day, they are the constants who make such a difference in the lives of children and young people. We also warmly acknowledge the service of the Board of Governors for this year and the last five. We are so grateful for their many hours of voluntary service and strategic direction given to the school, along with their willingness to serve in this leadership role. We pray that, as the Board is reconstituted, you will have a positive experience of working with a supportive and encouraging group of governors.
