Innovative practice and responsive interventions in the early years

Dr Glenda Walsh, Head of Early Years Education at Stranmillis University College will lead an interactive workshop on playful teaching and learning with a focus on outdoor education. 

A panel discussion will take place and attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a structured table discussion which will allow for the consideration of issues specific to early years education and the sharing of best practice. 

Gillian Beck, a lecturer in special educational needs and inclusion education at Stranmillis University College will join us in the afternoon to share with us the most effective strategies to support children with ASD and sensory processing difficulties.
