Sector-specific teacher professional learning events

Developing ethos in the controlled sector - seminars

Joint governor training sessions with CSSC and the Transferor Representatives’ Council

To outline the unique role of a Transferor governor, enable us to meet with Transferor Governors and find out how the Transferor Representatives’ Council (TRC) and CSSC can support them in their role.

Erasmus+ International Conference

Teaching problem solving in technology rich environments 20 August 2019 09:00–17:00 Bangor Academy and Sixth Form College KS2 teachers, KS3 teachers

One day event.

This international conference is the culmination of two years’ work by the international project team. Alison Clark-Wilson from UCL Institute of Education has been confirmed as the keynote speaker.

Workshops will explore current research and theory into teaching problem solving effectively, the use of GeoGebra, presenting problems through a variety of media and developing our own problems using photographs and videos.
