The most recent CSSC teachers’ professional learning seminar entitled ‘Energising Leaders’ and focusing on primary school leaders took place on Friday 24 January, with 48 primary school principals attending.
During the morning Ms Marina McCully from AWARE taught skills and techniques to look after personal mental health.
Dr David McKee, Head of Health and Physical Education, Stranmillis University College, Belfast, then explored the links between physical activity and sedentary behaviour and their impact on health and well-being.
A panel of inspirational principals shared their own experiences and how they manage a challenging but rewarding job.
The morning provided invaluable opportunities to network with colleagues and to discuss the very positive messages from everyone who contributed.
