The role of a transferor governor

As part of the process of governor reconstitution, the Transferors Representatives’ Council (TRC) is making nominations for school governors.

Transferor churches (Church of Ireland, Presbyterian and Methodist) hold the nomination rights for over 1,800 governors in controlled schools.

The TRC has produced a handbook for governors and a promotional video, both of which present an overview of the role of a transferor governor in controlled schools in Northern Ireland.
