Special Educational Needs (SEN) consultations
The Education Authority has recently launched a public consultation on two frameworks which set out the vision, rationale and delivery plans for SEN provision across Northern Ireland.
CSSC intends to submit a response to both consultations which include the draft Special Schools Area Planning framework and the draft framework for specialist provision in mainstream schools.
CSSC is aware of the importance that controlled schools place on supporting each child to meet their full potential and we would therefore welcome your views on these proposals. This can be done by contacting your School Support Officer. Should you as a school wish to submit an individual response the deadline for submission of responses is 11 December 2020.
