Priory Integrated College goes to India

Four students from Priory Integrated College travelled to India over the Hallowe’en break with their Principal, Jacqui Magennis and the charity, Saphara.

Priory Integrated College had undertaken 12 months of fundraising for Saphara, a charity which works to provide education for poor children in India.

Rhys Ditty, Rachael Hutcheson, Aeron Harrison, Peter Verner and Principal Mrs Magennis travelled with students from three other schools in Northern Ireland along with Dr Christine Burnett of Saphara to undertake a 10 day trip to work with children from some of the poorest communities in India.

Now that they have recovered from jet-lag, they’ve been able to reflect on their adventure of a lifetime. See their story on the Priory website.
