Permanent Secretary visit to Millington Primary School

Permanent Secretary, Derek Baker, visited Millington on Tuesday 24 September where he met Mrs Murray Principal of Millington Primary School together with staff and pupils.

The Pupil Council also met with Mr Baker to discuss a range of issues including the need for a new school hall.  

Mr Baker had a tour of the school, attended Mrs Beggs’ class Assembly and heard a fantastic performance from the school choir.

The children enjoyed meeting Mr Baker and he agreed to consider their request for a new school hall.
