Newtownhamilton celebrate strong GCSE performance

Once again, Newtownhamilton High School has produced another excellent set of GCSE results following the release of the results on Thursday 24 August.

An early start to the day proved to be worthwhile for the students as overall they performed exceptionally well.

Individual success was also evident with Ruth Ferris (pictured below) achieving the accolade of the top student with an outstanding three A* grades and eight A grades.

Principal, Neil Megaw said

“I congratulate all the pupils, parents and staff that have been involved in this latest set of successful GCSE results.

“Results like these don’t just happen, it involves a lot of hard work and so I pay tribute to everyone involved.

“It is very pleasing that our small country school continues to perform at a very high level”.
