Controlled schools celebrate strong GCSE performance

Controlled schools across Northern Ireland are today, Thursday 24 August, celebrating a strong GCSE performance by pupils.

CSSC Chief Executive Barry Mulholland commended pupils and teachers at controlled schools for their hard work.

“I would like to congratulate the pupils on their achievements.  Their diligence and determination has been rewarded and I wish them every success for the future.

“I also wish to recognise the commitment and support of the teachers and Principals who have played a key role in ensuring pupils have achieved these successful results.

“Controlled schools provide a wide range of educational pathways and opportunities for over 140,000 pupils to ensure they have the skills they will need for the future.”
