Celebration of Full Attendance Awards

CSSC School Support Officer Tracey Woods, along with Marketing and Communications Officer Emma Sloan were delighted to attend the Education Authority’s Celebration of Full Attendance Awards, which took place in St Louise’s Comprehensive College in Belfast today, 15 December 2017.

The event recognised children and young people who had achieved full attendance at school throughout their 12 or 14 years in education.

Pupils from 12 controlled schools were presented with a certificate of recognition by Ms Sharon O’Connor, Chair of Education Authority, who was also a speaker at the event.

School Support Officer, Tracey Woods said

“Emma and I were delighted to attend the event today, acknowledging the dedication of these young people, their families, carers and teachers.

“On behalf of CSSC, I would like to congratulate all of the pupils and schools on their commitment to learning.”

Speakers at the event included Dr Clare Managan, Director of CYSP and Mrs Patricia Carville, Chair of Children and Young People’s Services Committee. Guests were also treated to musical performances by two St Louise’s pupils.
